Update on injured Navy Seal, Dan Cnossen

Update on Dan Cnossen - received today from his family. Do what you can. A link to his site is at the top of this blog as well.

-Dave

Thank you so much for making a contribution to Dan's support fund. So far we have used a portion of the money to move Dan's sister Leslie to Bethesda from NYC and into an apartment so she can be closer to him throughout his rehab.

We apologize that we haven't been able to respond to all the emails that we've received, but we will in time.

We have created a website where you can track Dan's progress through daily posts: www.dancnossen.org

If you would like to continue to support Dan and his family, please consider forwarding this website link to your friends/network. Many people have been so generous in giving to support the family, and we are so thankful we have been able to fulfill Dan, Leslie, and Alice's immediate needs. Dan's recovery will last a long time, as will the need for support. Again, please consider forwarding the website, posting on your Facebook page, or on your blog.

We've had some really amazing days in the hospital thus far. Dan never ceases to amaze everyone with his strength and attitude. In talking with hospital staff and other wounded warriors, it's become apparent that while there are a lot of immediate needs, the long term needs are just as, if not more, expensive. We realize that at a point donations will drop off, and before that happens we'd like to raise enough money to help Dan through some long term expenses like ramps, transportation/vehicle, long term living aids, and of course, all the racing equipment that Dan will surely need to swim and run faster than all of us very soon.
We won't send this out again, but we wanted to express our thanks, and let you know how you can continue to help.

Sincerely,
Leslie, Alice, Dan and Dan's Support Team
